Tournament of Chivalry Armored Combat Hall

The Canton of Three Hills is pleased to host this Tournament of Chivalry.
MiC – SGT Padraig McLoughlin, ToC Coordinator – Sir Bran Cuileann mac Muirchu ui Niall

If you have gear to unload you MUST do it through the doors in the hall, and not the glass entry doors.

Rapier and Armored fighters: at St Valentines Massacre & ToC on 2/8/25, to limit touchpoints for the spreading of viruses and germs – we will not be providing 5 gallon coolers of water or Gatorade in either fight hall. We encourage everyone to bring your own personal hydration choices. The concession stand sells beverages at a reasonable price, if needed.

Large indoor events in the winter definitely carry an increased danger of sharing/spreading the current flavor of viruses and illnesses. There is no shame in staying away if you are not feeling well or worried about your future health.

Wash your hands frequently and wear a mask if you prefer.

Classes

The Canton of Three Hills and the Staff of the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre would like to thank the members of the Order of Chivalry for generously donating their time to share their knowledge with those aspiring to better their fight or become members of the Order.

Here is a sneak peek at the classes that will be held during the Tournament of Chivalry class periods. Time and class availability is subject to change.

  • Duke Brannos: Internal/External tension in our fight game
  • Duke Dag: Selling the Feint. This will be held twice.
  • Duke EikBrandr: Longsword – Using the back edge and how to keep your legs.
  • Count William: Fighting when Grounded
  • Count Louis: Working the Offside
  • Countess Sadb: Underlying Fundamentals for Footwork [rather than a class on the actual footsteps or strategies of movement, this class will focus on the underlying fundamentals (stance, posture, balance, etc.) that will allow your movements to be quicker, more effortless, and thus more effective]
  • Sir Drust: Chiv Round Table (minus the table)
  • Sir Sascha: Movement & Control
  • Sir Jocelyn: How to use knowledge of yourself (the way you think, feel, learn, and fight) to better focus your practice
